Registration now open for HandsOn Greater Richmond’s “Give A Day RVA” day of service
Over 1,300 volunteer projects are available to help transform and uplift the community during this, the largest day of service in Richmond.
Each year, HandsOn Greater Richmond hosts a day of service, coordinating scores of volunteer projects across the city aimed at making our city a better place. This year, HandsOn Day, as it’s been known in the past, is being billed as “Give A Day RVA.”
Registration is now open for the event, the region’s largest day of service, coming up on Saturday, September 23rd. This year, organizers say there are over 1,300 volunteer opportunities at more than 55 service projects.
Volunteers will be painting, cleaning, landscaping, planting and much more at area schools, parks, and non-profits. Projects will also include DIY and drop in projects that offer flexible scheduling. Many projects are also family-friendly.
