The start of the school year is right around the corner, and Henrico County Public Schools is seeking to fill many vital positions before students return to the classroom.
HCPS needs to fill slots for teachers, bus drivers, school nutrition workers, and custodians. The school system needs teachers for all grade levels from Kindergarten to 12th grade, with a particular need for teachers in reading, math, English, Spanish, and technical education. Substitutes in all fields are also needed.
Representatives from the HCPS Human Resources Department will be on hand for a job fair Thursday, August 10th at the school division’s Central Office headquarters in eastern Henrico County. Also present to talk with interested candidates will be representatives from the HCPS Pupil Transportation, School Nutrition Services, and Custodial Services departments.
Applicants are encouraged to apply online in advance here. Chosen bus driver candidates will be paid while they train.
The job fair runs from noon until 4:00 PM at the county’s Eastern Henrico Government Center and HCPS Central Office at 3820 Nine Mile Road and takes place in the Community Room.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to call the HCPS Human Resources Department at 804.652.3664.
Applicants without computer access or having trouble with the online application may contact the HCPS Human Resources Department or stop by the department office to use our computers and get help if needed.
