For the second year in a row, Buskey Cider in Scott’s Addition will host a celebration honoring #804Day, August 4th. The “holiday” recognizes the moniker for the Central Virginia area, which is designated with the 804 area code.

Neighboring restaurants Boulevard Burger and Brew and Fat Dragon will serve up sliders and firecracker shrimp, respectively, along with Convergent Coffee and Trussings Craft Fizz.

On the cider front, a Randall’d collaboration will be made specifically for #804Day using locally-sourced produce from Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market, along with Buskey Marys made with Texas Beach Bloody Mary Mix.

MOMS VA will have a puppy kissing booth, where dog fans can play with and adopt rescue dogs. Buskey is also partnering with HandsOn Greater Richmond, a nonprofit that organizes volunteers to complete a variety of projects in the community. The cidery will donate 10% of the day’s cider sales to the nonprofit.

The fun kicks off at 3:00 PM and runs through 10:00 at Buskey Cider, located at 2910 W. Leigh Street in Scott’s Addition.
