Veil Brewing Co.’s new fried chicken beer was made with a tray of Chick-Fil-A tenders
“Fried Fried Chicken Chicken,” a collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing, is an 8% ABV Double IPA with notes of…poultry.
Veil Brewing Co. in Scott’s Addition has been turning heads and drawing crowds with their unique beer releases every Tuesday, and this week was no exception.
The brewery teamed up with Evil Twin Brewing for their latest creation, and it’s one unlike anything the area–hell, maybe even the world–has seen before. Enter “Fried Fried Chicken Chicken,” an 8% ABV Double IPA. Brewers added an entire party platter of Chick-Fil-A chicken tenders to the mash during brewing, adding a hint of poultry to the New England-style IPA.
Thrillist, which picked up on the story, says Veil officials confirmed just .4% of the mash contains chicken tenders, so if you’re expecting the full Chick-Fil-A experience when sipping this unique beer, you might be disappointed.
The limited release beer is sold packs of four 16-ounce cans for $18.50 and is only available at the brewery.
