Almost four years ago, Blue Bee Cider introduced the first hopped cider in Virginia. Now there are a number of our fellow cideries that have crafted their own versions of this unique beverage.

This weekend, a whole host of them will descend upon Blue Bee Cider in Scott’s Addition. Hopped ciders will be available from Blue Bee Cider, Blue Toad Hard Cider, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Buskey Cider, Corcoran Hard Cider, Coyote Hole Ciderworks, Kindred Pointe, Potter’s Craft Cider, and Wild Hare Hard Cider.

You can also attend hop-focused workshops and enjoy local food & desserts from Continental Divide Richmond, Camden’s Dogtown Market and Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches. Live music will take place throughout the day as well.

While festival entry is free, you can purchase tickets in advance for cider tastings and activities. With this $15 ticket, you will receive a flight of five Virginia hopped ciders, three glasses of cider, entry to a Grand Tasting class.

It all takes place Saturday, April 29th from 1:00 – 9:00 PM at Blue Bee Cider, located at 1320 Summit Avenue in Scott’s Addition.
