RVA Earth Day Celebration in Manchester

Earth Day is this Saturday, and what better way to get out and support Mother Nature than by getting out and enjoying her beauty? The RVA Earth Day Celebration takes place April 22nd along the mighty James River in Manchester. Enjoy a 5K Race Without A Trace, outdoor vendors (both educational and recreational), yoga, art, live music and more all day.

Record Store Day at Plan 9 Music in Carytown

Plan 9 Music in Carytown is joining in with hundreds of other independent record stores around the world for Record Store Day. The store will have tons of limited releases, giveaways, and a full lineup of in-store music sessions with local artists.

The Big Pig Project in Scott’s Addition

Lunch & Supper in Scott’s Addition is hosting their annual Big Pig Project this Saturday. It’s one big street festival featuring hand-painted concrete garden pigs decorated by local businesses for auction, live country music, local craft market, delicious barbecue, beer, wine, and more. All proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
