BUSKEY RAISING FUNDS FOR COURTHOUSE CIDER

This past Friday Courthouse Creek Cider in Goochland suffered a devastating fire. Owners Eric and Liza Cioffi’s lost their home but fortunately the cidery which is located next to the home wasn’t damaged and nobody was injured. The couple plan to reopen the tasting room on April 22nd and even their competitors are pitching in to help. Keep up with Courthouse Cider on Facebook.

Buskey is releasing its Strawberry Rhubarb Cider this weekend and will be donating $3 of each pint to Eric and Liza at Courthouse Creek Cider. Courthouse Creek’s tasting room re-opens later this month – in the meantime, here’s a way we can all show our support by drinking a bunch of cider.

Here’s the official event.

We you get there you’ll buy a handful of tickets for $6 a piece and then use those tickets for you dining and drinking pleasure.

HARDYWOOD FOOD COURT IS BACK

A whole flock of food trucks have returned to the parking lot of Hardywood for the weekly food court. So nice to get out and enjoy a little dinner, from a little mobile restaurant, while hanging outside with friends. If the weather is nice expect crowds but just sit back enjoy your beer and say hello to all the dogs that folks bring along.

Food starts slinging at 5 PMish. Go to the event page to see who plans to be there. You’ll find me by the Slideways waiting for jerk chicken sliders and a mountain of fries.
