From the VHS:

Join us at the Virginia Historical Society (VHS) for a Gallery Walk, Children’s Book Art, with Caroline Legros on Wednesday, December 14th at noon.

This gallery walk will explore the efforts of contemporary illustrators to bring stories to life, investigate how illustrators from the past used new techniques to embellish children’s books, and examine how books targeted to young audiences have evolved over the past century.

Tickets are free for VHS members, $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children. Gallery Walks are sponsored by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Tickets are available for sale the day of the walk.
