All three levels of the historic event venue will come alive with what organizers describe as a “sexy” way to say “good riddance” to what was definitely a banner year for us all.

The Hofheimer Building in Scott’s Addition is sending off 2016 in style with a six hour Moulin Rouge themed party on New Year’s Eve, the venue announced late last week.

All three levels of the historic event venue will come alive with what organizers describe as a “sexy” way to say “good riddance” to what was definitely a banner year for us all.

From The Hof:

Black Masala, a DC outfit that infuses a flirtatious combination of gypsy punkiness and brass will headline the New Years Eve party. The event will feature a vintage-themed burlesque show by Melody Magpie & Lula Houp-Garou. The ball drop will be MC’d by local drag performer Michelle Devereaux Livigne. The building’s downstairs gallery will be converted into a speakeasy-themed hangout featuring Yeni Nostalji, a Turkish Pop-influenced lounge act. DJ Mike Murphy will bring the vinyl hits for the post midnight dance party from 12:30am – 2am.

General Admission tickets include entrance to the venue, all entertainment, and complimentary midnight toast. Only 450 available. $35 admission and cash bar.

The event will also offer a limited number of ultra-exclusive VIP Green Room Passes that include all general admission perks as well as access to the VIP Only Backstage Lounge where VIPs will have complimentary hors d’oeuvres, champagne on ice, a full Open Bar and private bartender for the duration of the event! The VIP lounge doubles as the Green Room for all of the performers so guests will get a chance to mix and mingle with the musicians and burlesque dancers. Only 35 VIP Tickets will be sold for $150/per person.

The party starts at 8:00 PM and runs through 2:00 AM on New Year’s Day.
