From NBC12:

Two men were asked to leave the Walmart in Short Pump this week after they put a dead deer in a shopping cart and rolled it into the store.

A witness says the deer was hit by a car in front of the Walgreens on Broad Street. The men cleaned the deer off the road and planned to have a friend come pick it up and carry it away.

Walmart released a statement regarding the issue, saying:

We can assure customers that the deer carcass never got into the store. It remained in the vestibule, far from any produce or sensitive areas, and the gentlemen were promptly asked to leave immediately.
