If you missed the deadline to vote in Virginia Monday night, you’re in luck. A federal judge in Alexandria ordered the Virginia Department of Elections to reopen registration after the department’s website experienced issues due to heavy traffic.

A voter advocacy group sued the Commonwealth of Virginia following the website glitches. Judge Claude Hilton immediately ordered the reopening of registration early Thursday afternoon in response to the case.

Prefer to register by mail? You can still do that, too. Just make sure your letter is postmarked by Friday, October 21st.
