Regional Quiz For a Cause – Beyond Boundaries at Väsen Brewing Company
January 19th

I hadn’t heard of Beyond Boundaries until writing this up and it definitely sounds like a cause worthy of throwing a few bucks.

The generous staff of Vasen Brewing Company have come together to put on a fundraiser for Beyond Boudaries.
Beyond Boundaries mission statement is “We believe that adventure is for EVERYONE. They serve people with physical or cognitive disabilities, veterans, underserved youth, and those in substance recovery. They take these people on outdoor adventures, such as climbing, fishing, hiking, paddling, kayaking, and more!”
Funds raised will help create outdoor opportunities for those who normally don’t have the resources or adaptations to do those things!

BEER NEWS

A good article but I take issue with it being a best-kept secret. Every beer/wine lover I know has spent time exploring Nelson County and for good reason.

Wineries, Breweries and Beyond: A Drinker’s Guide to Nelson County, Virginia – WineEnthusiast

While heading from I-64 to Route 29 in Virginia or visiting one of the state’s ski resorts (yes, Virginia has ski resorts!), you may encounter bustling Virginia State Route 151, which runs through a small portion of Nelson County, Virginia. Though once a rural passthrough, it’s now home to one of Virginia’s best-kept secrets for drink lovers.
