Chief Flying Squirrel Todd “Parney” Parnell Dishing up Cookies at Tablespoons Bakery on Saturday
There’s a joke about Parney being Squirrely in there somewhere but I can’t find it.
From the Tablespoons Instagram.
This Saturday, January 14th, we will be joined by our friend Todd “Parney” Parnell. He will be with us from 10-12. Parney is fearless leader of the Richmond Flying Squirrels! ⚾️
Parney will be working alongside our Cookie Crew at the Bakery (1707 Westover Hills Blvd.) and serving up your orders.
In addition to raising awareness about our nonprofit bakery’s mission to combat the staggering unemployment rates for young adults with developmental disabilities, our Celebrity Servers participate in a fun challenge to raise dollars that will go directly back into the mission. Any donation made on our website (leave their name in the comment field) this week or that comes in in-person during their “shift” on Saturday will be counted towards their total. We hope to invite other Celeb Serves to join us in future months and they will also get in on the fun.
We also expect Parney might challenge a friend or two to serve as one of our next guests. Who should he pick?! Comment below.
We hope to see you all on Saturday, January 14th, from 10:00-12:00 as we welcome Parney.
