The day begins with a chip-timed 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk for people only, followed by a dog-friendly, leisurely one-mile Dog Jog and our first ever “Little Paws” Fun Run. Throughout the morning, we’ll host our pet-friendly vendor fair at our Robins-Starr Humane Center that’s packed full of fun activities for the whole family and features a Kids’ Fun Zone and Pets’ Fun Zone.

If you aren’t able to join us, we hope you will choose our virtual “run anywhere” option. You’ll be able to join the fun from your favorite trail, neighborhood or wherever you wish to participate.

Your $30 registration will include:
👕 A Dog Jog and 5K Run T-shirt (for the first 1,000 registered participants)
🏅 A Dog Jog and 5K Run medal for you and your pet (for the first 1,000 registered participants)
🛍️ A goodie bag full of exciting gifts from our generous sponsors (for the first 1,000 registered participants)
🔢 A numbered race bib (for the 5K Run)
📲 GPS tracking, progress alerts and official race timing through the RaceJoy app as you hit milestones along your run/walk (if you choose our “Run Anywhere” registration)

In response to COVID-19 and to protect our loyal supporters and the Greater Richmond community the Richmond SPCA will continue to monitor all local, state and federal guidance related to gatherings. We will abide by public health guidance and state orders related to the pandemic, so details for our event could change at any time.
