Over two years ago I pulled the plug on this feature. I’m bringing it back as long as Covid continues on the downward trend.





Love Over Lager Valentine’s Day Beer Dinner at Hardywood
February 14th – Ticket Sale ends Wednesday

I checked this morning and tickets are still available so if you want to say “I love you” over beers and fancy foods move quick.

Join Hardywood for a special, limited seating beer pairing dinner on Valentine’s Day!
Our Executive Chef Dave Draper has put together a delicious three course menu with perfectly picked and paired beers.
Choose one from each course:
FIRST – Paired with Hefeweizen:

  • Baby beet and fennel salad with a blood orange vinaigrette and pistachios
  • Tuna tartare w/ white soy, seaweed, and wasabi tobiko

SECOND – Paired with Distorted Perception:

  • Pork loin with celeriac puree, caramelized endive, and mountain rose apple
  • Poached steelhead trout w/ Israeli couscous, yogurt-roasted cauliflower, pomegranates, and pine nuts
  • Cavatelli with parsnip cream, smoked mushrooms, broccoli greens and beet gastrique
THIRD – Paired with Bourbon Raspberry Stout with Vanilla Beans:
  • Hazelnut and amarena cherry semifreddo
  • Flourless chocolate torte with raspberries and Chantilly cream
Ticket cost includes all fees + gratuity. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 48 hours will be required for entry. Tickets are extremely limited!

Safe Space Market RVA is a queer/Black-led bi-monthly market convening to celebrate and support Black, Queer, Trans, Indigenous, Disabled and other underrepresented Richmond creatives. We believe in and support Black Lives Matter, Racial justice, and supporting and affirming LGBTQ+ people through a network of community care.
