Weekend Radar: Boats, Hot Wheels, Trains, Makers
On the Radar
Richmond Boat Show – I’m on a boat. Okay, not really but I could look at boats that I can’t afford this weekend. My watercraft budget is more in the Walmart floatie range than the boats you can see downtown. The all-new Downtown Richmond Boat Show will feature over 150,000 square feet of boats all under one roof. Over 80 brands of boats will be on display. All sorts of boats and boat-related gear will be there.

Hot Wheels – This is the last weekend to take your “Hot Wheels” obsessed child to get to the Science Museum of Virginia. There are all sorts of interactive exhibits. Plus you get access to the entire museum so plenty to do on a cold weekend.
