Tombstones at Hollywood Cemetery Vandalized Over the Weekend.

Richmond police are investigating vandalism at Hollywood Cemetery after tombstones in the cemetery’s President’s Circle Area were toppled over the weekend. Notables buried in the cemetery’s President’s Circle include Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler.

Hollywood Cemetery issued the following brief statement.

The cemetery Board of Directors and management are aware of the vandalism on the property. A police report has been filed and the matter is under investigation at this time.
