Pony Pasture Temporarily Goat and Sheep Pasture

Invasive plants are a major problem in our area and one way to get rid of the invasives is to eat them if you’ve got the stomachs for it.

Pony Goat and Sheep Pasture have some hard-working critters taking a bite out of the invasives. You’ll see the fence as you walk along Pleasant’s Creek and the path that cuts through the middle. Please note that the fence is electrified and don’t let your dog bark or chase the workers.

This the work of Friends of James River Park, RVA Goats and Capital One.

You can learn more about the fight against invasive plants at the Invasive Plant Task Force.
