Forest Hill Avenue Construction Update

The project should be completed by this Halloween. Hopefully, this is a treat not a trick.

Councilperson Kristen Larson posted the following update on the Forest Hill Avenue construction.

I know it can be frustrating at times, but the Forest Hill Avenue project is coming along!  You have probably noticed the sidewalks have been installed and the median is building constructed.  Here is the latest update from the contractor:

The current utility relocation phase is scheduled to complete on 5/24. Paving of the westbound lane will commence after the current phase and traffic moved to the original configuration to allow completion of median curbs, crosswalks signal and landscaping. After the completion of landscaping, the final asphalt surface will be placed to complete the project. The project is currently scheduled to be completed on 10/31/21.
