Crafters United Against COVID Hosting Mask Contest

Crafters United are running a mask drive to provide face masks for the employees of the Department of Motor Vehicles headquarters here in Richmond.  They’ve teamed up with the Valentine and winners will win a year’s membership at the Valentine and a Lenovo backpack for the workers at the Department of Motor Vehicles HQ in Richmond VA.

To help keep people, who work so hard for us everyday safe, we organized this contest.

Covid-19 has impacted employees and we want to support all the people going to work for us while risking not only their own health but that of their family’s safety. We are looking to raise 200 masks for these workers, are you up to the challenge?

For all those who are interested in helping the effort to keep our communities healthier and safer during the COVID-19 outbreak. This is your source for working on creating and distributing much needed personal protective PPE.

This is an initiative of Indie Lab working with The Carol D. Adams Foundation and other 501(c)(3) nonprofits; businesses, state and federal agencies, and individuals to supply a need for our essential and medical workers. We need your help though!

Crafters, makers, artists, handymen, designers, seamstresses, and enthusiasts of all types WE NEED YOUR HELP! You are some of the most talented, problem-solving and creative people on this planet and we need your skill sets and minds to help us keep everyone safe.

We also have medical professionals (doctors, nurses, hospitals & hospice centers) scientists, makers and manufacturing folks as part of our team!
We plan to utilize this resource in our collective fight to support workers and vulnerable people against COVID-19. We can save lives but we need your help!

We plan on having weekly contests, with prizes and rewards for recipients!

Contest Rules:
The winner will be the individual or team that can deliver the requested amount of masks first (200) will win the grand prize, 1 year membership to the Valentine Museum.
Once you have reached your mask goal please send us a message so we can collect your name, number and address to send you a prize or we can arrange to have your prize given to you at time of mask drop off.
