Murals are not happening the spring but they should happen come fall.

Unsure whether this change is due to travel restrictions caused by COVID-19 or not but glad to see it’s only a postponement and not a cancellation. I’ll always be in favor of more murals.

RVA Street Art Festival

The date for the 5th edition of the RVA Street Art Festival, originally announced to take place in April 2020 along the Floodwall on Dock Street, is being moved to September 25-27 due to unexpected logistical conflicts.

There will be an official submission process and call for artists posted next week to participate in what is sure to be one of the biggest street art festivals in America this year. You can sign up now on the web site if you are interested in being a volunteer or a vendor in September.

We are committed to hosting one of Richmond’s most unique and creative festivals where art comes to life, new artists are inspired and discovered, and money is raised to support arts education in Richmond. We can’t wait to see everyone getting their art on in September! http://www.rvastreetart.com
