The Boka Tako Truck will be at the Westover Hills Elementary School on Friday, November 1st from 10:30am-1:30pm. The truck will be available to everyone in the community and includes a lunch special of 2 tacos and a drink for $9.

Students will not be able to avail themselves of the tasty tacos unless a parent does the legwork. Clarification from Principal Allison El Koubi.

If a parent wanted to come and buy a lunch for their child and eat it with them in the cafeteria, that would be OK. But it’s an Incentive for our faculty and staff to be able to have the option to buy lunch (without having to leave school). We have a certain threshold we need to meet ($500+ in sales). Which is why I hope we have some community members who can help us reach that threshold! I would love to offer this opportunity more often to our staff, with different food trucks but only if the school does not have to pay anything additional to have them there.

I’m a fan of food trucks and would like to see them stop in the area more often, so I’ll be walking over and getting a couple tacos.
