The folks that created the excellent pool hall Greenleaf’s Pool Room are getting ready to open their latest ball based venture this Thursday. The balls are still multi-colored but much smaller. This time you’ll be experiencing Hotel Greene “Highfalutin Minigolf”, a fictional hotel that has fallen on hard times.  You’ll be experiencing it through 18 holes of mini-golf that will lead you through the once posh hotel. You’ll be able to check-in at 508 E. Franklin St. this Thursday starting at 5 PM.

The best way to get a feel for what to expect golf-wise is to check out their Instagram. Be warned they’re keeping everything close to the vest so you won’t see an entire hole just hints of the atmosphere. Which is centered in the 1930’s.

To get a feel for the restaurant and bar you’ll need to head over to Richmond.com and check out Karri Peifer’s tasty article.

The opening menu includes appetizers and snacks, such as a shrimp cocktail (with piquant Singapore sauce and seaweed salad, $11), seasonal crudites ($7 or $10, depending on size), and sandwiches, such as a club, French dip, burger or Monte Cristo ($10-$12). Brunch will be offered on the weekends a la carte or any menu item, plus coffee, tea and a round of golf for $20.
