PHOTOS: Lyft adds physical presence in Richmond with new Driver Support Center

Lyft announced this week the opening of a new Driver Support Center in Richmond known as The Hub. The Hub, centrally located at 414 N. 3rd St, will serve as the Richmond administrative headquarters as well as a community space for training, dispensing supplies, and assisting with all other driver requests. The Jackson Ward space will be open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The company says adding a physical office in Richmond is part of Lyft’s commitment to encourage direct interaction between management and drivers in each of its markets.

“We’re thrilled to grow our physical presence in Richmond and provide face-to-face, real-time support for drivers,” said Cabell Rosanelli, Lyft’s Richmond Market Manager. “In addition to providing in-person support, we look forward to gaining feedback from drivers about ways to improve our service, both locally and at the national level. Our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation and our drivers are at the forefront of achieving that.”

The company also hopes it will help it better connect with the Richmond community on a deeper level.

“Building bonds within the Richmond community allows us to address hyper local needs and issues – working closely with business owners, non-profit leaders, and city /state officials,” Rosanelli said.

Rosanelli and the expanding marketing and operations team will hold office near the new Hub.
