Train Derailment Causing Traffic Issues on Williamsburg Avenue

If you use Williamsburg Ave/Road you might have to find a different route for awhile.

Richmond fire officials say at least two Northern Southern railcars became disconnected from the train tracks in the 3300 block of Williamsburg Avenue.

No injuries were reported in the derailment.

Train derailment on Williamsburg Road blocks major artery from Fulton to Shockoe Bottom. Use Government Road or Route 5 (East Main Street) to Dock Street
