River Lovers Should Attend Tonight’s Final James River Park Master Plan Public Meeting

Before the Master Plan team drafts any recommendations, they are reaching out to the community for guiding input on the future of James River Park.

The final James River Park Master Plan public meeting is occurring tonight at 6:00 PM at the Virginia War Memorial (621 S Belvidere St, Richmond, VA 23220)! Before the Master Plan team drafts any recommendations they are reaching out to the community for guiding input on the future of the Park. The team has conducted meetings in each of the City’s 9 Districts so far and this is the final city-wide public meeting to wrap up the public meeting stage. The Master Plan team encourages you to come out and give your opinion and thoughts on the James River Park System and how you would like to see it protected, preserved, maintained or updated.
A short presentation will be proceeded by an open house-style meeting with the Master Plan team and volunteers standing by topic maps of the Park to document and discuss your thoughts on the future of the Park. Pizza and light refreshments will be available.

We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your thoughts and opinions on Richmond’s greatest asset!

If you are unable to make it out tonight we have an online survey available until March 30th, that will allow you to send your thoughts directly to us. The URL to the survey is: http://jamesriverpark.org/masterplansurvey/ “
