More from Laura Lee’s:

Westover Hills Elementary School (WHES) is located at the corner of Forest Hill Ave and Jahnke Rd and serves a diverse body of students from the surrounding communities along the Forest Hill Ave, Semmes
Ave, and Westover Hills Blvd corridors. WHES is Richmond Public Schools’ first Leader In Me School which embraces a whole school approach to building leadership capacity in all students based on the principles behind Steven Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”
The Beaver Boosters Club (PTA) is made up of dedicated parents, teachers, and community members who work to provide practical support for the school, including raising funds for school projects and coordinating school-wide events throughout the year. Highlights include the Westover Hills Carnival on the first Saturday in May, the
annual Christmas Tree Sale, school-wide book clubs and community events like Family Art Night, Fitness Night and more.
Laura Lee’s is an updated take on the American fern bar on Semmes Avenue in Southside Richmond. Our space is comfortable and lovely, with living walls, padded chairs and semi-circular booths, and a classic mirrored bar. In addition to Laura Lee’s, Kendra Feather owns 3 other restaurants in Richmond (Garnett’s Cafe, The Roosevelt, and Ipanema Cafe).
