Roll Out the Barrel for the 50th Annual Richmond Oktoberfest

Prost! Ein Toast! This weekend head to the Richmond Raceway.

This Friday and Saturday at the Richmond Raceway Old Dominion Building it’s your chance to be German for the night at the 50th Annual Richmond Oktoberfest. It’s the oldest and most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in Virginia. German “Gemütlichkeit” and dancing with Die Lustigen Almdudler, the Continentals & the Sauerkraut bands. Plenty of German food, imported German beer and wine, and imported German Bier Steins including a commemorative stein for the festival (see previous year’s steins). Sponsored by Richmond German clubs. Proceeds for German cultural events and college scholarships. There will be fun for everyone. It’s the next best thing to being in Munich.

Tickets are $15 at the door, $12 for advance purchase, $12.00 for Seniors 65 and over, $12 for active Military, National Guard, and Reservists. Children 15 and under are free. Food tickets are $1 each and can be used for food and beverages. Purchase admission and food tickets online.
