Make your voice heard at city-wide meetings on Richmond’s Master Plan, Richmond 300
Richmond’s Master Plan is being developed and now is your chance to learn more and let your voice be heard.
Richmond 300 is the city’s Master Plan and in theory, will lay out the goals for the city and the roadmap for reaching those goals. A good bit of the plan will be based on this 62-page Insight’s Report that was released this month.
The first 10 pages of describe the purpose of a Master Plan and the process of creating Richmond 300. It also covers previous planning efforts going back to 2001. The rest of the report is data that plan crafters felt would be relevant in the creation of the plan.
One example of the data present in the report is this chart showing population changes in the city.
Richmond 300 is hosting seven identical meetings starting this Thursday to engage the public in the new Master Plan process. Please try attending one of the meeting or engage through email, phone, or in person meeting during office hours.
