United Church Hosting Forest Hill Serve Day This Saturday
Volunteers will focus on three Richmond City Public Schools – Lucille Brown Middle School, Elizabeth Redd Elementary School, and Westover Hills Elementary School.
From the United Church Facebook Event:
We are so excited to host our second annual Forest Hill Serve Day on Saturday, August 18th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm! This is our biggest community event of the year and we want to show up BIG for our city.
We will be completing service projects along Jahnke Road with a focus on three Richmond City Public Schools – Lucille Brown Middle School, Elizabeth Redd Elementary School, and Westover Hills Elementary School. The projects at the schools will range from basic yard and grounds maintenance to painting and carpentry work. We will also have a team picking up trash along Jahnke Road between Lucille Brown MS and Westover Hills ES.
Registration for the event is now open so click on the link below to sign up! You will be able to designate which project you’d like to work on that day!

We want to make the biggest impact possible so please help us spread the word by sharing with your family, friends, and neighbors. We can’t wait to make a difference in RVA and hope you will join us!
