Väsen’s Anniversary Party

On Saturday, July 28th, one of Richmond’s newest breweries Väsen turns one year old. The Scott’s Addition brewery has decided to go big with their party. They’re taking over the massive parking lot across the street and have invited five bands including headliner Bio Ritmo, over ten breweries, food vendors including BBQ, outdoor activities, and more. Get your tickets and learn more here.

Hardywood HeART & SOUL Brewfest 2018

Saturday is a busy day if you like to combine your beer drinking and other activities. This festival highlights Soul Food, Urban Art, Hip Hop Music and Craft Beers. Everything officially kicks off at 1 PM but if you want to get limber and or centered before a busy day join Yoga Beats & Brews with bareSOUL yoga & wellness featuring DJ Eas3! at noon. More here.

48 Hour Film Festival Showing

Making a film in two day is no easy task but every year folks in Richmond rise to the challenge. If you witnessed a gaggle of cameras and actors racing about the city last weekend now you know why. You can check out the works they’ve created and see the winners.  Saturday there will be four screenings starting at 11 AM at Grace Street Theater, 934 Grace Street. Buy tickets and get details here.

Kickback Fridays at Kanawha Plaza

The city spent a good amount of money and even more time to spruce up Kanawha Plaza. After all that work it’s nice to see it being put to good use with Friday concerts. This Friday features Rob Williams taking the stage at 5 PM. More information on Facebook.
