No good deed goes unpunished and such is the case with King of Pops, weekly Free Yoga event. For the last couple of years, King of Pops hosted a free yoga event at the Carillon. It was free because King of Pops owner Paul Cassimus has been paying a yoga teacher to offer the class.

RTD is reporting that due to complaints about parking by neighbors the city looked into the situation. The city since the complaints has decided to enforce a special event fee of $790 per event. As a result, the event was canceled as a new location was sought.

Yesterday on Facebook King of Pops announced that a location had been nailed down.

According to that same RTD article, the new location will be Maymont starting in August.
