Sinkhole on Taylor Avenue
I’ve got that sinking feeling this morning and it’s shaped like a hole in and beneath the road. Use caution on the 1000 block of Taylor Ave.
The sinkhole you see above is on the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue. All the proper authorities have been informed including RVA311, police, fire department, DPU, and local news. Normally that would pretty much wrap this story up. It’s a hole in the street avoid it.
ABC8 reporter Nick Conigliaro has covered this sinkhole better than any relatively small sinkhole has ever been covered. First up we have the dramatic headline:

Eventually, a barrel was placed over the hole but Nick was there to follow-up and talk with neighbors.
