Popup Cleanup: Pony Pasture this Saturday

Popup Cleanup: Pony Pasture this Saturday

Litter is a problem that is growing as more people discover our parks. You can help by volunteering and by simply picking up trash everytime you’re out enjoying the parks or city.

Pony Pasture is an awesome spot that many of us enjoy. During the summer months, some guests aren’t as considerate as others and leave trash. The Fourth of July tends to bring out the worst in littering. Join the Friend of James River Outdoor Coalition this Saturday for a little clean-up action.

From Facebook:

The park needs a bit of help this week after the Fourth of July holiday. JROC is hosting a popup cleanup this Saturday July 7th at 10am at Pony Pasture. Park Staff will provide trash bags and grabbers for trash collection. We encourage you to bring gloves, water, and sunscreen.

If you can’t make this Saturday give RVA Clean Sweep a follow as they are always looking for few good people that want to help make Richmond a better, less trash-filled city.
