If you’ve had an idea percolating in your brain for a Southside garden, now is the time to act.

Beautiful RVA is looking for projects for Ginter Urban Gardeners to work with community members in developing or enhancing this summer. Do you have a greenspace you would like to see come to alive in your neighborhood? A blighted lot you and your neighbors would be willing to help plan, design and transform into a vibrant garden? We will be working throughout the South of Richmond this summer starting in August. Submit your ideas for community greenspaces today!

You can apply here.

Beautiful RVA a regional coalition of people and organizations dedicated to improving Richmond through public horticulture, urban greening, and beautiful place-making initiatives. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is serving as a “backbone” institution in a shared leadership model that includes other nurturing organizations interested in building local greening capacity through collaboration.
