Diversity Park and Mayo Bridge clean-up Tuesday

The area gets a ton of use and thus a ton of litter.

Anyone that walks along Mayo Bridge knows that the area can have a significant litter problem. The folks of RVA Clean Sweep are tackling that area and more today (Tuesday) at 6 PM. As always they can’t do it alone so volunteers are requested.

From the Meet Up Event:

We’ll cleanup Diversity park and the fishing area around the floodwall and Mayo bridge, there’s a small parking lot on 14th St across from the Train Museum or you can park at the Southern States silos across the street. Please wear closed toe shoes and bring some water with you, I’ll have bags and pickers.
