RTD on more allegations at Forest Hill Ave assisted living center
Owner Mable Jones has had her license suspended in the wake of the latest damning charges.

Mable Jones, owner and administrator of the assisted living facility Jones & Jones in South Richmond, has taken money out of her residents’ Social Security accounts to gamble at casinos, eat at restaurants, go on vacations and pay credit card bills, according to the state board that suspended her license on Tuesday.
In its statement of allegations, the Board of Long-Term Care Administrators lists a slew of alarming claims against Jones to justify its decision to suspend her license before holding a hearing, a move that the state sometimes makes if allowing the individual to continue practicing poses a substantial danger to public health or safety.
