Henrico County Public Schools is holding a major hiring event to talk with interested teachers and other professionals about opportunities within Virginia’s sixth-largest school division on February 17th.

The school system is seeking teachers for all content areas for the 2018-2019 school year, as well as school counselors, librarians, psychologists, social workers and nurses.

The school division will also be interviewing candidates for bus driver positions. In 2017, the event drew hundreds of applicants to talk with staff members from the school division’s human resources department, as well as representatives from individual schools.

In order to accommodate teaching schedules, the job fair will be held on a Saturday morning. Organizers ask those interested to register in advance by February 5th right here. Walk-ins, however, are also welcome to attend. Attendees are also encouraged to bring multiple hard copies of their resumes to share with school administrators.

Henrico County Public Schools has more than 50,000 students enrolled in 72 schools and program centers.

It all takes place Saturday, February 17th from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Glen Allen High School, located at 10700 Staples Mill Road in Glen Allen.
