It’s exciting to see public art coming to this side of the river.

The RTD is reporting that the Public Art Commission has tapped local artist Mickael Broth to install a large metal sculpture in front of the Hull Street Library. In that article, it is mentioned that the last time the commission awarded a project to a local artist was back in 2005 for an installation at a different public library.

The metal sculpture will be about 10 – 12 feet wide and reach 18 feet at its peak. Broth will be using all local vendors and contractors to complete the work with a budget of $50,000.
