Hull Street Library to get colorful sculpture
It’s exciting to see public art coming to this side of the river.
The RTD is reporting that the Public Art Commission has tapped local artist Mickael Broth to install a large metal sculpture in front of the Hull Street Library. In that article, it is mentioned that the last time the commission awarded a project to a local artist was back in 2005Â for an installation at a different public library.
The metal sculpture will be about 10 – 12 feet wide and reach 18 feet at its peak. Broth will be using all local vendors and contractors to complete the work with a budget of $50,000.
