Soul Santa Celebration at Black History Museum

Santa is coming to town and hanging out in Jackson Ward for a couple weekends.

The  Black History Museum & Cultural Center is hosting the Soul Santa Celebration (122 W. Leigh Street) the next two Saturdays with all sorts of activities and of course the jolly man himself.

From Facebook:

Please join us for our Soul Santa celebration on the first two Saturdays of next month, December 2nd and 9th, from 12- 4pm each day. It is completely FREE and open to children of all ages! We will have wonderful activities, including a historical scavenger hunt, book giveaways, seasonal arts & crafts and of course pictures with our legendary Soul Santa. This year, we have added a Holiday Shop for our kiddos to enjoy secretly shopping for their family & friends. A variety of gifts will be available for purchase between $1 – $8 and personal shoppers will be available to assist them. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted for purchases. Plan now to join us!
