It’s fitting that I just posted about Crossroads and their 15th Anniversary. If you sit at Crossroads for very long it’s very likely you’ll see Keith Ramsey strolling in to grab a coffee and perhaps sit for a bit and enjoy conversation with neighbors or work on one of the ideas bouncing around his head.

Keith is equally comfortable with the crowbar/welding torch as his the brush and canvas. It’s great to see the profile that showed up on Style Weekly this week and this quote is perfect:

“I do all of these different things because, first, I want to, and second, because it shows what a black male artist looks like without limits. You can’t just shove me into the Black History Month shows and ignore me the rest of the year. I can’t be pigeonholed; I’m an artist, dude.”

Check out Keith’s work at Ramsey Art Works.
