Tailgator Aid Citra and Grapefruit IPA Debut and Tailgate Party – Center of the Universe, Saturday
Football, the pointy ball kind not the kickball kind, is upon us. To get in tailgate shape Center of the Universe is hosting what I’d call a training camp for tailgaters. Beers, grilled food, music, cornhole, and of course football on the big screen will be at your finger tips.
It’s that time of year again! Grills are getting cranked up, those old, but lucky shirts and hats are coming out, and its time to cheer on your team. Thankfully, we have a beer for that. Introducing, Tailgator Aid! This 100% citra hop bomb infused with loads of grapefruit is just what you need to kick your day (or morning) off right. At 6.2%, it won’t knock you over, but should help kickstart the festivities. This beer won’t be around long, so get up, grab some, and be the hit of the tailgate!
We So Shiny will be on stage from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Corn hole boards will be set up and The Cultured Swine will be here slinging dogs and burgers. Let’s introduce this new offering Tailgate Style! Games will be shown on the 20 Foot HD projector all day long (games TBD).

Gooseberry Gose Release – Ardent, Tuesday
I’ve got no idea if a Gooseberry is real or a made up Dr. Seuss fruit. Either way, I’m sure it’ll taste good in a beer. Here is the official description.
Our Gooseberry Gose is a hazy straw color with a creamy white head. Soft coriander notes and tart acidity dominate the nose, with hints of salinity. The mouthfeel is effervescent, yet remains typically full-bodied for wheat beers. The flavor is tart and slightly salty with a pleasant acidity, rounded out by a mild cereal grain undertone from the German pilsner malt.
Farmhouse Pumpkin – Hardywood, Saturday
You know Fall is in the air when the pumpkin beers start coming out of the woodwork. Hardywood is sharing their Farmhouse Pumpkin Ale this Saturday starting at 1 PM.
Brewed in the style of the farmhouse ales of Belgium’s southern countryside, Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin utilizes a blend of rye, wheat and barley in the grain bill, earthy flavoring hops and a classic saison yeast. Ripe, flame roasted Virginia sugar pumpkins and brown sugar provide a hearty backbone to this 8.5% ABV beer. Freshly ground Ceylon cinnamon, whole Grenada nutmeg, whole Madagascar clove and whole allspice harmonize with pounds of freshly sliced organic ginger root.
