You might not be able to teach an old dog a new trick, but at least you can have the old dog’s picture painted.

This Wednesday take your canine companion out for a drink and quick photo session at Casa del Barco or is that Casa del Barko? Dogs of Downtown plans showcase those dogs that visit or call downtown Richmond their home.

Join Venture Richmond and Dogs of Richmond on the Canal Walk at Casa del Barco Thursday, August 10th from 4-7PM for the launch of “Dogs of Downtown”!

Casa del Barco’s dog-friendly patio will be open and offering happy hour deals including ½ price tacos and empanadas and drink specials from 4-7 PM.

Pet portraits will be taken and featured on Venture Richmond’s Instagram and we will be giving away free, special edition RVA dog stickers for all those who participate!

Although completely unrelated, be sure to follow @dogsofrichmond and @dogsofhardywood for great pictures of the pooches of Richmond.
