Proposed plans for Stratford Hills clearcut

Earlier this year a large tract of trees near the Martin’s on Forest Hill Avenue in Stratford Hills was torn down. The reason given for the destruction was to prevent homeless individuals from camping in the woods. The result was an ugly clear-cut that collects wind-borne trash.

Above and below we’ve posted the plans for the area. Bear in mind that the  full SUP plan needs to be approved by the planning commission before any actual work is likely to take place. The plan developed in consultation with the Southampton Citizens Association. The proposed Vavoline and proposed AutoZone caught my eye has well but I have no further information.
