From RVAMore:

The City of Richmond’s Public Utilities Department will be surveying and sampling on and near the concrete sewage pipe in Forest Hill Park on Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22. This location is most often accessed from the top of Forest Hill Park main parking lot and from the entrance to Forest Hill Park directly across the street from Reedy Creek parking area. During this work the hiking/biking trail will be closed from the top of the hill in the main parking lot of Forest Hill Park down to the pipe at the bottom. Temporary re-routes will be flagged. Please remain cautious during this time frame.

See map: the section that will be closed is shown in RED. The GREEN section is the temporary route that can be used to make the loop. This will be signed. The ORANGE section is the area where equipment will be coming in. The loop should be open during construction but users should use caution through this area
