Press Release:

Invigorate Cryotherapy is the latest health and wellness business to find a home at Stony Point Shopping Center, located at 3028 Stony Point Road.

Looking to make an entrepreneurial move in the health and wellness space, Kelly Duncan owner of Invigorate and a certified yoga instructor, saw an opening in the market for a niche wellness boutique that focused on healing the body and recovering from injury.

To celebrate its opening, Invigorate will host a grand opening event on June 17 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Guests can expect special $30 introductory session and discount packages.

Invigorate Cryotherapy is equipped with an Impact TM walk-in cryosauna. Cryotherapy, or cold therapy, is a quick, dry, non-invasive and effective way to ease pain, reduce soreness and boost energy. Commonly associated with athletes in training, cryotherapy has been shown to alleviate the everyday aches for all people.

“Everybody experiences some level of pain or soreness and many people are short on time, cryotherapy makes sense for people looking to feel better faster without losing hours in the week, said Duncan.

The cryo experience is quick, painless and enhances the body’s natural healing processes. The individual enters the nitrogen-powered cryosauna where the chamber is between -90 Celsius (-130ºF) to -120 Celsius (-184ºF). The chilled air blows over the person and pulls blood from the extremities to the core. When the person steps out of the cryosauna the process reverses and the freshly oxygenated blood returns to the entire body. Gloves, socks and booties are provided to cover extremities that may feel more discomfort from the cold.

“So many first-time clients are amazed about the experience,” said Duncan. “When post-sauna feedback isn’t about their surprised enjoyment, then they’re telling me about how much they appreciate that they can be in and out in 15 minutes and get on with the rest of their day.”

Invigorates hours are11 AM to 7 PM Tuesday to Thursday, 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to to 4 PM on Sunday. Pricing and scheduling information can be found online at www.invigoratecryo.com.
