Erik The Travel Guy bounces around the world and gives short overviews of the spots he visits. He also has a website with a blog of travel tips and links to various companies that can help you in your travels. This year he plans to hit 20 spots and Richmond was at the top of the list.

There’s nothing earth-shattering about his recommendations. They’re pretty much exactly what you’d expect. The only real criticism–and I’ve seen it elsewhere–does anyone, and I mean anyone besides your random marketing person, ever refer to Carytown as the “Mile of Style?”
