Photos from Pony Pasture: James is Angry

We went up to Pony Pasture and the Wetlands this morning. Most trails were blocked due to high water.

According to the gauge at Westham the James has peaked and will slowly recede over the weekend. It will however be above 9 feet through Tuesday so unless you’ve got a permit or with professionals that have permits you should stay out of the water. According to RTD on Friday there were two rescues and I suspect there will be more before the weekend is done.
