The Boxer Brief 5k takes place on June 3rd, at 8:30 AM at Stony Point Fashion Park. Registration is open now and is $35 for adults and $25 for those under 17 and under.

Rich was 41 years old when diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.  The Boxer Brief 5K started with Rich and continues for everyone else who battles today.

 

Rich left us with a message – “help others”.
The efforts of Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) help to break down the barriers which cause colorectal cancer to flourish.

Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) is a Richmond based nonprofit which serves the local community.  HCB2 offers community events and services which educate about prevention and break down barriers to screening.  The proceeds of community events benefit prevention education for the community at-large, colorectal cancer early detection services, and patient and survivor support services.  HCB2 raises the level of conversation about cancer prevention.
